Nexus Offline-First POS & Retail System
An offline-first point-of-sale and inventory platform for a multi-branch retail group, synchronizing transactions to the cloud the moment connectivity returns.
The Challenge
Unreliable branch connectivity meant cloud-only POS systems froze mid-sale, and end-of-day reconciliation across branches took the finance team a full day of manual work.
The System Solution
We built a Vue 3 PWA with local-first storage that queues transactions offline and syncs to a Laravel API with conflict resolution, plus an automated reconciliation engine that closes all branches in minutes.
Architectural Overview
Progressive Web App with IndexedDB offline queueing, idempotent sync API with conflict resolution, centralized Laravel backend on a Dockerized host, and automated nightly reconciliation with exportable finance reports.
